It’s HERE! It’s been a long time coming, and we’re really excited to bring a Mac CC tool to the Sims 4 community. This is a versatile tool for making custom content for Sims 4, and batch-fixing your Sims 4 custom content. As those familiar with Sims 4 Studio will note, the Mac version does not have all the features of the Windows version. If there is interest in the Mac version, more features will be added over time.
This version does have a few features not yet added to the Windows version, including the ability to filter the thumbnail list by game pack.
It also contains a full resource editor that can edit any Sims 4 .package resource (CAS, Build/Buy, etc.)
Please note, this tool is the first Mac custom content tool for Sims 4, and it is a beta tool. What that means is that it is going to have bugs until it is being used by a community of Mac users who let us know when they run into an issue that needs work. No one on this team regularly uses a Mac so improvement of this tool will require some effort on the part of the Mac Studio community. If running into a bug while using an app bothers you, then this isn’t the version for you - wait until it has been community tested first.
Sims 4 Studio for Mac (Appleseed) requires OSX (El Capitan) 10.11. Read more, see more pics, and download HERE.
Happy Modding!
Definitely looking forward to a version with Object editing, I’m dying to make some medieval/fantasy item recolors *-*
“In the desert city-state of Gujaareh, peace is the only law. Along its ancient stone streets, there is no crime or violence. Priests of the dream-goddess, known as Gatherers, maintain order: harvesting the dreams of the citizens, healing the injured, and guiding the dreamers into the afterlife… whether they’re ready to die or not.
When Ehiru — the most famous of the city’s Gatherers — is sent to harvest the dreams of a diplomatic envoy, he finds himself drawn into a conspiracy that threatens to drag the dreaming city into war.
So begins a hugely ambitious tale of culture and empire, war and religion…and the realm of dreams.”
“Gujaareh, the city of dreams, suffers under the imperial rule of the Kisuati Protectorate. A city where the only law was peace now knows violence and oppression. And nightmares: a mysterious and deadly plague haunts the citizens of Gujaareh, dooming the infected to die screaming in their sleep. Trapped between dark dreams and cruel overlords, the people yearn to rise up — but Gujaareh has known peace for too long.
Someone must show them the way.
Hope lies with two outcasts: the first woman ever allowed to join the dream goddess’ priesthood, and an exiled prince who longs to reclaim his birthright. Together, they must resist the Kisuati occupation and uncover the source of the killing dreams… before Gujaareh is lost forever.”
